True Healing is Possible to All: HealMeWhole.com

New "Wholeistic" Healing Project Designed to Help People Find Peace, True Healing.

SPOKANE, WA., June 1 (EmpoweringSites.com/): The world is in crisis -- and people need healing. People carry too much pain from past traumas with them -- and they carry that trauma in their minds, bodies, and souls, leading to both mental and physical health issues -- and pain.

"We are the unhealthiest we have EVER been. We are hurting physically, mentally, and spiritually because of past trauma we have experienced," states Randall S. Hansen, Ph.D., an author and advocate for healing. "We are in the largest public health crisis we have ever experienced at a time when we should be able to be living our best lives."

These untreated traumas can poison people in their adult lives, greatly affecting their well-being -- often leading to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, substance abuse and addiction, stress eating, agitation, confusion, numbness, and dissociation. It can also lead to acting out, putting ourselves in dangerous situations.

We may think we have put our trauma "in the past," but all trauma leaves traces within us -- regardless of how well we think we have dealt with the issues, states Hansen, adding, trauma can actually change the structure of our brains.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 50 percent of Americans will be diagnosed with some sort of mental health problem or disorder during their lifetime; worldwide, 280 million people suffer from depression, while 264 million suffer with anxiety disorder. There's no question people are hurting.

Just last month, the United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy released a new advisory calling attention to the public health crisis of loneliness, isolation, and lack of connection in our country, labeling it an "epidemic of loneliness and isolation."

Sadly, the most common way to "treat" these issues is by treating only the symptoms, typically through the use of antidepressants and anxiolytics. Over the last two decades, we have seen a massive increase in the long-term use of anxiolytics and antidepressant medications in the United States.

But trauma doesn't just lead to mental health issues. Partly because the brain and gut share a strong connection through the brain-gut axis, trauma can also impact physical health, including disrupting our digestion. (And what goes wrong in our gut will cause more issues with our brain -- and the cycle between the two continues until the trauma is resolved.)

HealMeWhole.com is a platform for finding true healing -- and introduces the Six Holistic Healing Modalities:
